Take ownership of all customs clearance processes and ensure that all related tasks are completed accurately and on time
Lead the Trade Compliance team both professionally and disciplinarily across Germany and Switzerland
Contribute actively to projects requiring customs expertise, continuously improving processes and developing scalable solutions
Monitor customs clearance costs and take responsibility for the internal control system
Act as the Supply Chain Management representative in daily interactions with suppliers and internal stakeholders, while advising Category Management on customs, Incoterms and related topics
Represent the company as the designated customs representative towards authorities and ensure that all necessary permits and authorisations are maintained at all times
Was Sie mitbringen
Several years
in customs and import/export operations, ideally with initial leadership experience
Höhere Fachschule
Business Administration, International Business, Business Law, Logistics or a related field
Englisch (fliessend)
Deutsch (fliessend)
Completed degree in Business Administration, International Business, Business Law, Logistics or a related field, or commercial apprenticeship with further qualification as a Foreign Trade Specialist, Customs Specialist or Trade Compliance Manager
Several years of professional experience in customs and import/export operations, ideally with initial leadership experience
Solid knowledge of cross-border e-commerce specifics, including Swiss customs law
Experience with customs software, ERP systems and the automation of Trade Compliance processes
Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, a high degree of ownership and experience in project management
Strong stakeholder management skills and proven ability to collaborate across Logistics, Finance, IT and external service providers
You build trust through consistent and reliable actions
You use creativity and initiative to solve problems and achieve goals
